Asif joined CBRE Caledon in February 2010. Asif is responsible for the sourcing, evaluating, structuring, negotiating, and executing of infrastructure investments and is a member of the CBRE Caledon Investment Committee.
Prior to joining CBRE Caledon, Asif worked in the Infrastructure Group at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, a sovereign wealth fund and one of the world’s largest institutional investors. During his tenure at ADIA, Asif was an integral part of several infrastructure investments made by ADIA with an enterprise value totaling in excess of USD $12 billion. Previously, Asif worked as an Assistant Vice President at OMERS Infrastructure. During his tenure at ADIA and OMERS Infrastructure, Asif was an integral part of the acquisition and management of several key investments made in utilities, energy, transportation, communications. Prior OMERS Infrastructure, Asif worked in the consulting group of Deloitte in Toronto.
Asif received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in astrophysics and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
